Our specialized services include hospice and respite services.
Knowing that a loved one is suffering from a debilitating illness or possibly even nearing the end of their life, it is often very difficult to deal with mentally, physically and spiritually. The staff at Warsaw Meadows combines knowledge and empathy to help manage a patient’s symptoms and make the patient as comfortable as possible. Outside hospice providers may be able to offer further support if the Resident meets hospice criteria. Educating and comforting the family is also part of end of life care services provided by our staff.
Respite care is designed to relieve individuals or families involved in caring for a loved one who is no longer physically or mentally capable of taking care of themselves on a daily basis. Warsaw Meadows offers a respite care stay program that allows for caregivers to take a break and take care of themselves. Whether a caregiver must travel for business or recuperate from an illness or injury, we can relieve the burden of daily caregiving through our respite care program. Warsaw Meadows offers its full continuum of services including 24-hour nursing care, medication administration, daily meals and snacks, laundry services, planned activities and social services, during respite stays.
"When I first walked into the facility there was a clean aroma. People were busy, but it was a calm quiet. We felt very welcomed and informed. For the short time my mom has been at Warsaw Meadows the care she has received has been loving."- Michael A.
"I really like the care that my husband gets and everyone on the staff are amazing people. They take a special interest in every patient. Even though I drive an hour one way to see Ricky, I would not have him anywhere else."- Rebecca W.
