Harmony Hall
At Warsaw Meadows, we realize that some Residents require specialized services to meet their individual psychosocial needs. For this reason, we created a Special Care Unit, Harmony Hall.
Harmony Hall is designed to improve the quality of life for Residents who have unique psychosocial needs beyond those of our geriatric population. Our goal for the unit is to maintain as much independence as possible for each Resident in a structured, comfortable, and secure environment.
Residents qualify for the unit based on various diagnoses including mental illness, MR/DD, or other brain injuries and psychosocial needs as identified in their individual care plans. Appropriate Residents who participate in this special programming will have less confusion and agitation, more socialization, and more structure.
Harmony Hall offers:
- An environment that encourages Residents to undertake activities throughout the day that help them stay active and self-sufficient to the furthest extent possible;
- Dedicated staff who are trained to care for Residents with diverse psychosocial needs whose primary goal is to preserve the Residents’ dignity and independence;
- Care plans focused on the individual person-their abilities, their activities of daily living and their social well-being
- A safe and secure environment which opens up to a beautiful secure courtyard.
Residents who live on Harmony Hall are not limited to activities on the unit. They have the freedom to attend facility programs, special events and outings provided by the facility.
